Plumbing questions, answered
Do you handle emergency plumbing at night?
Yes. Call or WhatsApp us and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you tonight or first thing in the morning. Out-of-hours visits carry a call-out surcharge, which we state on the phone before we dispatch anyone.
Will you break my wall to find a leak?
Only as a last resort and never without your permission. The plumber will first isolate the leak using pressure and moisture checks. If access work is genuinely needed, you get a separate written quote before anything is opened up.
Are parts included in the price?
Labour is included in the quoted price. Standard consumables such as tape, sealant and common washers are included too. Larger parts — taps, geysers, motors, sanitary ware — are charged at cost, and we show you the price before buying.
How long does a typical repair take?
Most tap, drain and geyser jobs are finished within 45–90 minutes. Bathroom pipework renovations run 2–4 days depending on the extent of the work.
Can you fix a leak without breaking the tiles?
Often, yes. We locate the leak precisely first, so if any access is needed the opening is as small as possible - and you get a separate quote before anything is cut.
Do you work on old houses as well as new builds?
Both. Older properties bring corroded galvanised pipe; new builds bring poor joints and untested concealed runs.
Will you clean up afterwards?
Yes. The area is sheeted before we start, and old parts leave with the plumber.
