Renovation questions, answered
How are payments structured?
In stages tied to completed work — typically a mobilisation payment, then releases at agreed milestones, with a final balance on handover. We do not ask for the full amount up front, and every stage is signed off by you before it is invoiced.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
Usually 10–14 working days for a complete strip-out and rebuild, assuming materials are on site. The written schedule gives you stage-by-stage dates so slippage is visible immediately rather than at the end.
Do you handle CDA approvals?
No. We can tell you when a job needs approval and what the process involves, but the application itself is between you and the authority, usually through an architect.
Can we live in the house during renovation?
For a single bathroom or one room, usually yes. For a full-house renovation it is genuinely difficult, and we will say so during the survey rather than after you have committed.
What happens when the scope changes mid-job?
It gets written down and priced before the work happens, as a variation to the original quote. Nothing gets added to the final bill that you have not already agreed in writing - that is the whole point of the scope.
Who buys the tiles, fittings and paint?
You choose them, and you can buy them yourself or have us buy at cost with the invoices shown. What we will not do is choose finishes for you and surprise you at handover.
What if the finished work is not right?
We walk a snag list with you and fix the items on it before the final payment stage is released. Holding that last stage back is your protection, and we build the schedule that way deliberately.
