WhatsApp us a photo of the rating plate and the fault. Parts availability depends on the model, and that is the honest first question.
2Technician diagnoses on site
Most faults are found and fixed at home. If it has to go to the bench, you are told before it leaves.
3Quote, repair, then run a cycle
We run it through a cycle or bring it to temperature before we go.
Fridge failing with a full freezer?
Keep the door shut and do not keep opening it to check. A closed freezer holds for most of a day. Message us and say it is a freezer full of food.

FAQs
Appliance Repair questions, answered
Is the diagnosis fee waived if I go ahead with the repair?
Yes. If you approve the quoted repair on the same visit, the diagnosis fee is credited against the repair cost.
Can you repair at home or does it go to a workshop?
The large majority of jobs are completed at your home. Only board-level electronics work sometimes needs to go to a workshop, and we tell you before anything leaves the property.
Do you use original spare parts?
Where original parts are available we use them and show you the price. Where they are discontinued we will tell you clearly that the part is compatible rather than original, and let you decide.
My appliance is still under warranty. Should I call you?
No — use the manufacturer's service centre first. An outside repair usually voids a live warranty, and we would rather tell you that than take the booking.
Do you service as well as repair?
Yes, and for washing machines and geysers it is worth it. Descaling a geyser element and clearing a washing machine filter once a year prevents most of the call-outs we get.
Is it worth repairing, or should I replace it?
We will tell you straight. As a rule, if the repair is over about half the price of a comparable new unit and the appliance is past eight years, replace it. We would rather lose the repair than take your money for a machine that fails again in six months.
Can you get parts for older or imported models?
Often, but not always, and that is the honest first thing to check - which is why we ask for the rating plate photo. For some imported models the part has to be ordered in and we will give you a realistic wait, not a hopeful one.
