2Crew arrives and sheets up
Furniture covered, floors sheeted, edges masked. Preparation starts before any tin is opened.
3Two coats, then inspect together
We look down the wall with you in daylight before we pack up.
Damp on the wall? Do not paint over it
Paint on a damp wall blisters within a season, and you pay twice. Send a photo and we will tell you whether it needs a plumber first - even though that is not our sale.

FAQs
Painting questions, answered
Should I buy the paint myself or let you supply it?
Either works. Supplying it yourself gives you full control over brand and batch; letting us supply it means one invoice and we carry the risk if a tin is short. Labour-only and inclusive rates are both published above so you can compare properly.
How much paint does my house need?
As a rough guide, wall area is around 3–3.5 times the covered floor area for a standard-height room. We measure properly during the free survey rather than estimating from floor size.
Can you paint while we are living in the house?
Yes, and most of our interior jobs are done that way. We work room by room, mask thoroughly and clean at the end of each day so the house stays liveable.
There is damp on the wall. Can you just paint over it?
No — and we will tell you so. Paint over active damp will bubble within weeks. The damp source has to be fixed first, which is usually a waterproofing or plumbing job. We will quote both so you can see the real cost.
How many coats do I actually get?
Two full coats over primer as standard, and a third on strong colour changes or where old dark paint bleeds through. If a wall needs a third coat we tell you before we start, not after.
Will you move and cover our furniture?
Yes. Light furniture is moved to the middle and sheeted, floors are covered, and sockets and frames are masked. Anything heavy or fragile we ask you about rather than shifting it ourselves.
How long before the room is usable?
Water-based emulsion is touch dry in a couple of hours and the room is usable the same evening. Enamel and wood polish need a day or two, so we sequence those rooms last.
